I can’t believe we’re still in this Corona mess. At least in Los Angeles. Seems like everything is going to shut down again pretty soon.

So if you have a guitar laying around or want to make your dry guitar loops sound better – check out this week’s Ableton Racks

It’s an Effect Rack designed for guitars. Weather it’s your own recorded guitar, sample libraries or loops this FX kit can give you awesome tone.

It only uses Ableton built-in effect except for a free Chorus plugin called WS-1 you can download from HERE.

The main effects are:

Macros

Gate – Set the threshold for gating. Turn all the way down to switch off the gate

Dist – Ableton Pedal effect into a Cabinet and Amp

Chorus – Amount Thickening Effect using the free WS-1 plugin

↑ Depth – (Under the chorus macro) – Increase the chorus intensity

Tremolo – Amount of volume modulation

↑ Speed – Speed of Tremolo

Space – Amount of Spring Reverb

Echo – 1/8 note delay with light modulation

1. Double click on the downloaded file to open it up in Ableton Live

2. Click on the Save button at the top right corner of the device to save to your User Library
