This week I got a very useful audio rack for yall – Analog Enhancer.
Essentially it’s a collection of Live’s Audio Effect dedicated to adding warmth/fuzz/dirt/tape/vinyl and an overall more analog feel.
I’ve set the Macros Mix/Max to be very responsive and with an effective parameter range.
In its default state, the rack doesn’t affect the sound at all.
Feel free to change the order of the devices in the rack for a different sound.
Macros
Vinyl Drive – Adding Vinyl Distortion to 2300 HZ.
Crackle – Adding vinyl artifact noises
Shifter – Applying subtle frequency modulation for movement
Tube – Adding Subtle Vacuum Tube boost
Tape Noise – Dynamic Noise/hiss
<- Noise Freq – Changing the focus frequency of the Tape Noise
Degrade – Soft Downsample
Overdrive – Noiseless Drive Boost
Installation
1. Double click on the downloaded file to open it up in Ableton Live
2. Click on the Save button at the top right corner of the device to save to your User Library
*Only works on Live 9.5 and above!!!
