When using multi-sampled drum plugins like Addictive Drums, Kontakt, BFD, MT-Power Drum Kit and others, it’s up to us to remember the GM MIDI mapping or even worse, custom mappings of the plugin, to know which note trigger which sound.
Luckily , there is a way to see the drum names in the MIDI clip with this rack!

Requirements
– Latest version of Ableton Suite
– For this template to work, Change Addictive Drums Map Preset to GM
You can access the Map Window through the setting button (the three stripes on the top right)
INSTALLATION
1. After Download – Double click on the file to open it up in Ableton Live. (Bug – If the file extension is missing, rename the file manually to end with “.adg”)
2. Click on the Save button at the top right corner of the device to save to your User Library
