Granulator III Overview

In this workshop, we'll delve deep into various techniques using Granulator III:

1. How to Granulator:
We'll start by understanding what is granular sampling/synthesis and then explore all the controls in Granulator III.

2. Micro Looping Techniques:
Explore how to create beautiful harmonic and melodic progressions out of existing loops with just automation and Granulator.

3. Live Input Granular Sampling:
Learn how to use Granulator to record and resample your own samples, synths or even live microphones and guitars

4. Vocal Stretching:
Discover how to achieve futuristic vocal sound with different stretching techniques.

5. Generative Ambient Sequences:
We'll also see how to use Granulator Built-in LFO to create beautiful sequences for your music.

6. PitchLoop89:

In this session we'll also explore PitchLoop89 which is a buffered Delay from the same developer that can create beautiful micro looping, glitches, reverse delays and much more.

This workshop is designed for producers and musicians of all levels who wants to better understand what is granular sampling, see modern production techniques on how to use the Granulator and use these techqnieus in your own music.  . Whether you're a beginner seeking a solid foundation or an experienced producer looking to expand your knowledge.

 

Granulator III

Robert Henke's popular granular synthesizer is back in Live 12 with a better look and added features. Now, it includes two new ways to play back grains (Loop and Clouds modes) and lets you use MPE to tweak grain size, shape, and position. This immensely powerful sampler can be your next favorite instrument and become part of your sound as an artist.

 

Pitchloop89

PitchLoop89 is a pitch-shifting tool inspired by the Publison DHM 89. Create jittery glitch effects, delayed digital shimmers, and wild vibrato in the studio or live performances. After exploring Granulator III we'll check out a few live techqnieus with the PitchLoop89.
